Yellow Fluid?
My 78 F250 is leaking some yellow fluid from the transfer case. it is leaking from the front and also from the speedometer cable connection. Any ideas what that is and how to stop the leak?

This is just a guess on my part but if it started after water immersion you probably got some in the trans/transfer case and it has increased the volume and is foaming. In that case you need to change all the gear oil now or you may get wear and rust damage real soon.

I'll second that, in fact I wouldn't even call it gear oil anymore. Change it quick.
Leaking from the front? There is a vent on top of the case. If it's leaking from there, gravity does the rest. If it's coming from around the front driveshaft, you need to replace a seal pronto.
