When I pulled the 428 that I have in my 64 Galaxie, it had dish top pistons in it, it is a 66 T-Bird engine. Ford really did have alot of fun in those days.

Aha! I thought you meant yours had eyebrows. Yes, 352 pistons without valve reliefs are kind of different, and should give you plenty of compression. This can be increased with certain head gaskets. What's your piston to deck clearance?
