head gasket?
just a general question on how to tell the difference between a blown head gasket, cracked head, or block. I think if you run it with the radiator cap off and it bubbles it would just be the head gasket, correct?
the reason I ask is my dads 95 6.5 turbo with 135,000 miles.

Still could be any of the above.
I bought a reman engine with a cracked block, that caused the head gasket to blow, that took out the radiator and heater core. Talk about something snowballing.....
Are you getting white antifreeze smelling (very sweet smell) smoke out of the exhaust?
If so you can remove all the glow plugs till you find the wet one, then you know which head to remove and inspect.
