Used Explorer Pricing

Anyone buy/sell a used Explorer recently? I'm curious what the going prices are nowadays. I'm thinking of selling my '96 Limited. KBB isn't much help now that there is Employee Pricing on new trucks.

Short answer is no I haven't dealt with used recently. Longer answer is you might check places like Autotrader.com of similar sites to see what they are listing for around your area (or elsewhere).

Check Edmunds and NADA as well. I've found that Edmunds is usally low on price, while KBB and NADA are usually a little higher. I am usually able to buy and sell somewhere between these prices.

I doubt current promotions are affecting the value of a 10 yr old truck, its the 1-3 yr olds that are in trouble..

Purchased my 98 EB Explorer 4.0 SOHC/Auto with 76,000 miles, well equipt and in great shape for $8400. Purchased it at Maita Toyota in Sacramento and it came with a 3mo/3000mile warrantee
