Talking Just a Feed Back

Hi Guys
I was about to post a question but I started reading some of the others first and found several with the same problem as mine. I have a 86 F150 5.0 as after inspecting my engine I went for a drive as I pull into the store I was stop by a man that told me I had no lights at all in the back I did live to far as soon as I got home I checked the lights and anything worked no tail, back up, turn and license plate. I change all the bubs nothing Changed the fuse nothing, checked with a test light in the light sockets had power but not enough to run the light. I though about the grounds but didn't no where to start until I read Ramos_150 (5/26/05) thread and Franklins 2 responds to check the ground in the rear which it turned out to be the ground connection I checked with a test light on the light side of the connector I had power put it on the side coming from the front of the truck I had no power (this is a single wire that is has it's own connection) using a jump wire by passing the connector everthing work once that was changed problem was solved.
