Okay, so I pulled this roll bar out of an early years big bronco. Between 78-81 or something like that. It was at the local pick n' pull. I have a 90 Bronco and am having some trouble getting it to fit, and ideas on why? Are the floor pans different in anyway?
Different body style, different tubs. May not be by much, but enough for the roll bar to not match up. (I believe about 1 1/2 inches.) Best to figure where it doesn't fit then take the roll bar to a shop with the measurements and have them mod it. Then don't forget the under plates to bolt through for strength. Especially if you cant get it to bolt through the frame.
You can check my gallery in the Bedliner process file and check out the floor to see if it matches up to yours OR check the Bronco file and go down to the last couple of pics. I have a 79 Bronco with the factory roll bar.
The 78-79 roll bars will only fit those yrs. the top bar will be too low for the 80-96 Bronco's because of the floor board changes in the 80-96 Bronco's

I bought mine on ebay a couple yrs. ago. If you keep checking on ebay they show up every now and thin. If you have a 80-96 make sure you buy one for those yrs. don't get one for a 78-79 they are too short because of the floor pan changes on the 80' and newer Bronco's.
