tranny question

if you eliminate the computer in a 92 f150 can you still use the E4OD transmission? if not then what trans do i have to look for to go with a 1969 351W? thanks for the help this could save me some money.

my dad said they make something u can put on the E4OD that will control it so u can take the computer out of ur truck. not sure wut the is called though

it's a tranny computer called The Baumanator and it's pretty expensive!

You need a stand along transmission controller. Baumann makes one, as Jim said. I'm sure there are other ways.
