My neighbor is putting a dump bed on a 1992 F-350 4 wheel drive. He is wanting to convert it to dual rear wheels. He has dual wheels from older 350's but they will not clear the springs. Would the wheels for a 1992 dualy fit on it or will he have to make some other changes.

 

In order to convert he will need to rear axel from a dullie, the axels are longer from spring mount to hub face. This allows the hub face to be centered between the wheels. Also, you will need to convert the front axel or carry two different spares.
