Steering Conversion 74 to 79
What would I need to convert to a 79 F100 manual steering sytem from my 74 F100 manual stering system. Will a new pitman arm for a 79 bolt right up to my steering box? Now here is what I think I need; Pitman arm for 79, Drag link for 79 and a center link for a 79, tie rod end for a 79. I was also thinking about getting a superlift adjustable drag link but cannot find one, where could one be purchased? I am also running 77 front spindles on my 74 for the disk brakes and was wondering if I would have to drill out the spindles to a bigger size to get the 79 tie rod end bolts through or if i will have to lathe out a bushing/spacer. Am I missing anything in my conversion? Thanx
