There is no accurate answer to your question. Some people get 8 m.p.g., and some get 22 m.p.g. (highway). I get around 13-14, all day around, high way and city. I'd say the average is gas mileage for the 300 inline 6 is around 15. (give or take 1)

I cant really tell what mpg my 300 take's, it goes 10 miles close to an empty tank then on a full tank, it guzzles it down pretty quick. Im probably getting 8 to 10 for mine.

ive noticed that it sucks all of your gas when you floor it you can watch the meter go down, but when you drive it like normal it gets decent mileage.

Depends on tranny, gear, 2 or 4wd, tires, lift etc.

1988, ZF 5 speed (yes it is a ZF, I put it in), 3:55, 2WD, empty 15-16 constant. Highway it does not change, the aerodynamics of a 4x8 sheet of plywood works against mileage, crusies at 80 though.

Well the 69 F100 gets 20mpg

The 79 F150 with a Carter Yf gets 16mpg with overdrive
The 84 bronco gets 12mpg with a NP435 and 33" tires (but it hasn't been on the road for a while)

All have 3.50:1 gears

I get 12-15mpg going to school, on Shell Vpower. 17-19 on long trips of 50 miles or more doing around 50 on the back roads. Only done that once and i was pleased.

That's with an NP435, 4.10 gears 31" tires 4X4. Not too bad, only mods are cats are gone 3" sewer pipe, and an RV cam

Truck had:

300, 3.55, 31s. I don't do any highway driving, and got 15mpg.

Truck now has:

300, 4.10, 33s. Still barely any highway driving, and gets 15mpg.
