There is no accurate answer to your question. Some people get 8 m.p.g., and some get 22 m.p.g. (highway). I get around 13-14, all day around, high way and city. I'd say the average is gas mileage for the 300 inline 6 is around 15. (give or take 1)
I cant really tell what mpg my 300 take's, it goes 10 miles close to an empty tank then on a full tank, it guzzles it down pretty quick. Im probably getting 8 to 10 for mine.
efi, mazda 5 spd tranny, headers, true duals (no cat, does have an X pipe), electric fan, restricted egr valve, 3.55:1 rear gears---> 17 mpg overall avg
Depends on tranny, gear, 2 or 4wd, tires, lift etc.
1988, ZF 5 speed (yes it is a ZF, I put it in), 3:55, 2WD, empty 15-16 constant. Highway it does not change, the aerodynamics of a 4x8 sheet of plywood works against mileage, crusies at 80 though.
The 79 F150 with a Carter Yf gets 16mpg with overdrive
The 84 bronco gets 12mpg with a NP435 and 33" tires (but it hasn't been on the road for a while)
I get 12-15mpg going to school, on Shell Vpower. 17-19 on long trips of 50 miles or more doing around 50 on the back roads. Only done that once and i was pleased.
That's with an NP435, 4.10 gears 31" tires 4X4. Not too bad, only mods are cats are gone 3" sewer pipe, and an RV cam
