hey guys
I got screwed by a guy who rebuilt my C6 for $300. I know you cant expect much for that price but a friend said that their son had him rebuil his and had no problems. It works great till it gets war and then it wont shift right from 2nd to third and it shutters in reverse. it has an extemely delayed shift. Anyway i thought it might be the govonor. can some one tell me how to replace it. Oh yeah it is a 77 F-150 400 w/C6.

Sometimes on a rebuilt C6 you can get a little tiny bit of lint or something in one on the valve bodies and cause odd shifting problems. When this happened to me I was told to manually shift it for a while. After a day or so of shifting back and forth it cleared up.

I thought's that's what government was all about! Gettin' paid to do what other people tell you and in the end, after payment, screwin' the payers around and makin' up stupid rules that are to "protect" the people from WHAT? THEMSELVES?? I guess they don't think that the average American today is smart enough to know that if you drive 200 mph and you wreck, you're probably gonna die whereas if you drive 70 you've got a whole lot better chance of living. Gee, I wonder how I would be driving? And don't even get me started on seatbelts. I've had a family member decapitated cuz of the stupid things and I hate them but the way I see it, in their opinion, everyone should wear them, but that's not my opinion. Yet again, the minority rules. I thought this was supposed to be a democracy! MAJORITY RULES! YEAH RIGHT! Madolyn O'Hare had her say and look...minority ruled. What's next? (such a cynical view from a 21 yr old.... :-X23 )

ford4life69 This is not suppose to be a democracy but a constitutionaly federated republic. in other words it is a mixed government. Part monarchy (the president), part republic (the senate and house of reps.), and part democracy(the people). Each is suppose to limit the others to keep the government from getting to powerful.

 

Someone needs to tell my government teachers that starting from like the 4th grade. But then I do come from a little town that really didn't care about anything but football. What the football guys didn't realize was that the only reason anyone went to their games was to see our state winning band... (feel the pride) ...
