Magnaflow Catback Install
Today I had a local Indy shop install a 3" cat back with a magnaflow 3x5x18 muffler. He cut the Y pipe further back to get the 3" dia out of it and connected a 3" straight pipe (no bends or kinks needed) to the input of the muffler. I had him order me a 3" mandrel bent (smooth bends) tail pipe which he connected to the other side of the muffler and out behind the rear tire with a chrome tip. This is the same set up has the magnaflow 16612 setup. Total charge for pipes, muffler, hangers, tip and labor was $240.00. I didn't think that was too bad? I love the way it sounds, not too loud, but still throaty. Even better under hard acceleration. Best of all no droning at all. I would recommend this catback setup to anyone wanting a single type system
