Go for the 4.30's, you'll get better mileage and a higher tow rating. Go to the FTE (Ford Truck Enthusiasts) forum and check out everything you'll ever need to know and more about all Ford trucks. Including the mighty 3V V10 w/357 hp and 462 ft lbs tq for a mere $800 upcharge. Good luck !
