My Bronco came with 265-75-15 tires. I changed to
31-10.5-15(Pirelli scorpion A/T). I never really liked the handling or the general feel of these
tires. Lately(30,000 miles)the noise level has increased, with revolution thump.I am considering going down to 235-75-15. What changes would I expierence wih this size??? Please advise, Thanks
Bill
well it sounds like the tire itself isnt suited for your bronco. try running a set of BFG A/T's but you should only be running the tire pressure at 35lbs and need to be rotated every 10,000 miles roughly. have you rotated the tires you have on there now?
I would also have to agree with the BFG A/Ts. THey are a good all around tire. I am running the Firestone Destination M/Ts on mine, but I do a lot of mudding and have a 4" lift. I have used the BFG A/Ts before on a Toyota and have to say they are an excellent tire for the money. Great in all weather situations and damm good off road.
i have LT 235/75/15s Uniroyals on my 92 bronco, they ride real smooth and i noticed a big difference in handling and rides much smoother. I think the bigger tires were made for off road action rather than city driving
