Hey, just thought I would post and announce that I will be back working on my 57. I had under-employment issue for the last couple months and that kept me from working on the truck. I am gonna set my sites on getting the seat done, and then getting a new cab. Hopefully, I can get the truck on the road with the rusted cab in the next few weeks, so I can start enjoying a bit of time with the truck. Now I can start spending more time in here seeing what others are doing. I have been avoiding it because it just makes you nuts when you can't work on your own.
You looking for a cab? How far you willing to drive and how much do you want to pay? I know of practically every non-bigwindow rust free cab out there. -4speed
I think I found a good cab here in Denver. The place has had it for several years under a cover, and they told me they would sell it to me for $250 with doors!! I can't imagine a better deal. If you know of one let me know and I will be on it.
