clutch master cylinder replmt
thanks for all the help.

The dowel pin that holds the line in is a real pain to remove and replace.
All the fluid will drain out of the master cylinder when it is removed.
When you get the new one on, fill the master cylinder and crack the bleed screw open till you get fluid. Then close the bleed screw and refill the master cylinder. You should have enough pedal to get the truck in gear then, but it will not have all the air out of the system. I have tried every way I can think of to get all the air out, but the easiest thing is to go for a ride about 20 miles long with up and down hills and lots of gear changes. Works every time by the time I get back home.
Course I really need an excuse to go for a ride in my truck.
