Amp/Antislosh Module location 1994 Explorer
I have a 1994 explorer. My fuel gage works fine when the dash gets hot but quits when it is cold. I replaced the fuel/oil gage module in the instrment cluster but the problem still exists. Ford told me there is an amp/antislosh module in the dash. the part was 79.00 and installation was 276.00. They couldn't or wouldn't tell me where in the dash it was located. Both Haynes and Chilton show the module in the schematics but no other info as to where it is and how to replace it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The dealer parts dept should be able to pull up an exploded view of the instrument cluster. Or you can find it online at autozone.com
Might be different on yours, but the EVTM for a 97 shows it's right beside the voltmeter
