Radiator Question?

Radiator Question?
Yesterday i went out to the country to get some parts for another truck im working on and while i was leaving i hit a prairie dog stump and the battery jumped out of the tray and slammed into the fan and part of the fan ripped rite into my radiator and just tore a big circle into it, the problem im having now is finding a radiator for a 300-6 and people i know hardly carry those, i have a couple ford radiators but there all V-8's and the one i have now (while was on) its a little smaller and the hose that goes to the thermostat is located on the driver side while the one's i have now are mostly located on the passenger side. I haven't tried the Salvage yard yet, but just to save myself some money. Will a V8 radiator fit into my truck which is a straight six?

Same obsevation: all my V8's have the inlet on the passenger side and the outlet on the driver's so it seems to me, it might create a plumbing problem for you. Can't your local radiator shop put a new core between your old tanks?

Its okay now cause i finally found a good used radiator for 20 Bucks which i couldnt believe cause radiators at the some Salvage Yards will range to 150-250 bucks and i just lucked out!!
