PCM code 0603

Can anyone tell me what would cause a fault code 0603, (PCM keep alive memory error) on a 99 PSD. I reset it but it comes right back when I drive it. Does not cause "check engine light" to come on. Truck runs fine.. Any ideas..?

i think thats one of the codes that will be set if you have a chip or programmer, if you have one it should be fine, (sorry, i am to tired to look it up to be sure)

Yep. Anytime you disrupt the power supply that code will be set. Installing a programmer, unhooking the batteries, etc. Not generally anything you have to worry about.

If it comes back everytime you drive it you may have a blown fuse or something of that nature.
