Any "old timers" here remember Bub's Daddy gum? It was bubble gum packaged in a length about a foot long and it came in several flavors such as regular, grape, apple and cinnamon. The last I remember it being available was back in the early seventies.
Hmmm....that was before my time. The timeless classics that I enjoyed growing up and still can't pass up are the hot cinnamon toothpicks and the Double Bubble gum.

cigar, those are aesome the cinnamon tooth picks, but here in oklahoma they seem to be just a annual thing, like they are pretty commong like once every 2 years
Why..that's hard to immagine! Ugh..that sutff has got to be only about 2 clicks better than the gum that comes in baseball cards...It darn near cuts your gums and I think some fresh dirt would taste better.
If you want quality gum, there's Black Jack gum (black licorice flavor) - which is surprisingly good... and there's Beeman's (sort of a spice flavor). My grandma says they came out during the depression when she was a little girl. It's kind of expensive compared to normal gum, but you can chew it a long time and it stays soft and keeps its flavor. Normally I'll chew a piece of gum about 10 minutes and it gets all hard and small and no flavor, but these two gums last a long time and stay soft.
I remember it well. We would try to find 2 pop bottles along side the road and run to the "sev". Returned pop bottles were worth 3 cents apiece and Bubs Daddy was a whole nickle.
