Clear Corner Question

This is probably a stupid question because you usually get what you pay for but I am interested in buying some clear corner tail lights for my truck and I noticed on Ebay that there are some for under $20 and at other respectable sights like J C Whitney, you can pay over $100 for them. Will the cheap ones be more likely to get moisture in them and crack or am I worrying too much. $20 sounds a lot better than $100.

I've got some of the cheap tails on my truck and they don't leak.

Thank to all..........

I'll give the cheap ones a try. They look every bit as good as the expensive ones. I now see that clear corners are not tail lights. I guess I meant the Altezza tail lights.

I bought clear corners for my f-150 a week after I got it and they were made by APC and were about $89. 3 years later no moisture and no problems. I always say you get what you pay for, but I think it is more luck then anything. Sometimes you pay a little and get lucky other times you more and get junk, I think it is Newton's Law!!!03' Supercrew 5.4L Fx4

If you are worried about the cheaper ones leaking then run a small bead of caulk around the seam where the lens and housing meet. That ought to cure up any chances of them leaking. Also look at the corners and anywhere else you might think water could enter add a small bead of caulk. (Just my two cents, and its what i am gonna try when mine come in and i return from Iraq.)
