Just saying a long hello
The message kajjiger told me to say HI to everyone.
Ive been into fords since I started driving and come from a ford famliy. My dad grandfather and greatgrandfather were all ford men. Ive owned alot of cars and a couple of trucks. I used to work as a mecanic but I gave it up when all the car parts and how there bulit started getting cheaper and cheaper. Ive restored and restified a few cars. But could never find a solid truck to restore. Till I moved to AZ cars out here have great bodys but bad motors and thats ok by me. So about a week ago I came across a 79 supercab 4x4 f250 its got 85000 miles on it the only bad part is the PO tried to fix a bad water pump with a couple gallons of block sealer. So the water jacket is coated about 3/8 of an inch thick with the stuff. So it slowly heats up. I put on a water pump radiator hoses and cooling fan. But to no avale it still heats up and yes I checked the thermostat and timing. So its motor time Its got a 400 c6 dana 20 tcase and dana 60and61 so everything else is pretty solid. Oh and it has the factory AC. everything is there and pretty much original so it will be a beautiful truck when I get done with it.
