What kind of truck do you have? What kind of brake controller are you using?

One hopefully helpful advice...

If the 1990 250 is like my 94 250, there is a controller connection up under the dash right near the Ash tray and to the right of the driver's knee. It is a bundle of wires maybe 1 foot long with a rectangular plastic connector on it and it is usually wrapped up out of the way, but at least in my case easy to find and nothing else around it that could be mistaken for it. Find this connector and hooking up your controller is easy.
The hardest part of hooking up the controller was finding a flat spot to mount it on. The only place in my 250 was on the underside of the dash near my right knee. If I ever have an accident that controller is going to eat my knee.

Good Luck,

Jim Henderson
