Radio main power wire.

Hello everyone.
I am working with a 94 F150 thats lost main power going.
to the radio. The power lead was accidentally shorted to ground
and now its dead.
I have went through all the fuses in the fuse box. All
check ok visually and with an ohm meter. I also connected the
- meter lead to the ground wire at the harness and was able
to get 12v at both sides on every fuse in the box. Theres no breaks
in the + wire from the harness plug to as far down as I was able to
trace it.
The wire is 16-14 guage and light green with a black stripe.
I noticed that this wire does not go directly to the fuse box
because there is no wire with this color and guage connected
to the box anywhere. I can only guess that it must be connected
to something else changes color then goes to the box.

So I need to know where this wire runs and what its connected
to so that I can trace down the fault.

Thanks.
Glen

Is the wire still shorted? If so a short detector might work. I wonder if this could be on a fusible link or a Fuse in the back of the radio itself?

I ran all of the voltage tests with the radio out of the truck.
I just had finished repairing the radio. It does have a 10 amp fuse
on the back but it checked ok. The radio works fine when I run it on the bench.
I was just told that there is another fuse box under hood I will check soon
then let you know what I find.
