belt misaligned
I recently replaced my vacuum pump along with the pulley (i ruined the pulley using a gear puller by accident to remove it). The problem I'm having is the serpentine belt rides up on the pulley on the ac compressor. I fix the problem then it seems to happen again after driving. The belt actually becomes one notch off on the inside of the compressor. I looked at the pulley i installed on the vacuum pump and it looks like it may be too far out. any help would be appreciated.

Hi, It could be that the pulley is different than the others check and count the grooves on the other pulleys. factory air has 8 grooves and dealer air has 6 grooves, found this out changing the clutch on the a/c hope that helps
