new here, need better braking for towing

hi my name is timm im new here, not new to diesels just diesel pickup modfication.. ive been working on diesels for a few years now. ive got an 03 f-350 PSD that i tow my toybox trailer with. we camp at about 10,000ft elevation and the nearest town is down at 4,600ft. so i was wondering if a torque converter locking system or an exhaust braking system would be better? im looking at the banks exhaust brake system... i coud definetly install it on my own. but the tranny work willl have to be done in a shop unless its just a computer programmer... so what do you guys thnk?

Hello Timm, welcome to FTE!!

There is a fairly simple and very inexpensive way to convert your factory exhaust backpressure valve to use as an exhaust brake.

And if you want the T/C lock up too....
