New member here from Fowlerville, Michigan. I've found alot of interesting information on this site for quite awhile, and decided to finally register today. My first new truck was a 1992 Clubwagon, then a 1995 Bronco. Next was a 1999 F-250 SuperDuty 4x4, and now, a 2003 F-350 Superduty 4x4. I also like cars and motorcycles. I currently have a 2000 Camaro Z-28, a 2002 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R, and a 2005 Kawasaki KLR 650 dual sport.
I needed new tires (58,500 miles). I was just going to get the same 265 size replacements, but my wife complained people were saying the stock ones were too small, and talked me into these So, I had BFG 315's with 16x10 Ultra rims put on Saturday. The dealer told me they would fit. I guess he meant as long as you didn't want to turn. As I approached 70mph on the way to work, the truck started shaking pretty good. The dealer did mention they were having a heck of a time balancing them. Looks like they didn't get the job done very well. Anyway, I had to trim about 3/4" off the front bumper. It came off easily with a die grinder, and looks good. They still rub a little on the rear plastic of the fender well. Looks like I'm going to need a leveling kit or a lift now. Any comments on whether a leveling kit would do the job? I don't really do any off roading, mostly my daily 90 mile round trip to work. Thanks!!
