What's up yall? I was just wondering what kind of interior you all have in your fords? My bench and my carpet are not looking to good. Now i was planning to go to a junk yard and get a bench seat, but for the floor, I'm not really sure. I was thinking about putting some vinyl like stuff for the floor or i got this cool idea and put some rhino liner down on the floor. It's not going to be real fancy but just some redneck truck that looks good. Than the roof has some weird bench cover material. It's hard to explain. I was wondering what you all do w/ the roof? Leave it or put some other cool stuff up? if you all would, just write me back saying what you all did to your trucks or if these ideas are good ones. Peace.
i put roll on box liner on my new 78's cab floor, and i'm using a seat out of a 87 f-150... a bench seat out of any f-series ford truck up till 96 will fit our trucks...
If you have the original fiber headliner you can use it for a pattern to cut some more or you can use spray on adhesive to stick new cloth on. You can also get headliner kits at the [link: motorhaven.autoanything.com|Online Store]. I always stick some extra insulation up above the headliner and in the cab when I rework them. That bubble wrap type reflective insulation works real good in the roof. Regular fiberglass building insulation works good stuffed into places. Sometimes I put it inside a plastic bag to keep it from dusting all over. I use all sizes of bags and also bubble wrap bags. DON'T USE STYROFOAM!!!
There are several people that have used bedliner material on the floor. I think it would look good if everything was cleaned up and a neat job was done. You can always throw in some floor mats on top of everything. The problem there is getting them to stay put...

I like carpet on the floor with good floor mats.
It is personal choice and it depends on your usage - lots of mud may mean you want to with something highly durable and easy to clean.
Keep it Rubber Side Down!
