damn, I'm upset I had to leave early. I didn't get to do the banquet or keep my truck around for the tallying and judging. I was so disappointed...

Ray, remember time is ageless, it just keeps on going. Old is only a matter of perspective.

Sounds like you turned in the rental with 0 problems.

I can just picture Ray at the rental check in -

"Sir? Were these tires bald like this when you accepted the car?"

"Nope. There was a lot of stop and go traffic...."

(Or would that be 'STOMP' and go?)

Thanks for the detailed listing of winners. All you that showed up and worked or participated are winners. Wish I could have made the meet. Oh well. There is always next year.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is the "Blow the Engine Award" and the "Memorial Award"?

Blow the engine award was actually a lottery to get closest to the time it took the engine to seize after running it full throttle with the coolant & Oil drained.

It took about 18 seconds to stop & not turn over when trying to re-start.

The memorial award is recognition for Tim a Kansas member that passed away near the end of 2003.

You can see & read about it if you go to my webshots album ,access is in my sig.I think I was the only one who photgraphed the written up part.

You c

I am presently working on getting photos on the winners uploaded to my web shots album.

My webshots album has a Slide Show feature for easier looking.
