How about a poll for those that WANT to use it but can't get it close--LOL. That would be me.

If you can do this in your area( local laws). get a loaner tank from a good fuel supplier and have them blend the fuel for you. some suppliers will provide tank and pump for free or small cost depending on useage. In Texas I found 6 suppliers of biodiesel and several distributers.

I found some places to buy it but they're quite a ways from where I live in North Austin--Cedar Park actually. I'm gonna get some on my way to Bristol at the end of the month and see how it does when I pull my camper. I'll take an extra set of fuel filters just incase they plug up and I have to change them on the road. Biodiesel has the cleaning tendancy so I've read. A loaner tank in my area is not an option as you can't leave anything in front of the house where I live--neighborhood association will even write you a ticket for high grass if it's been raining for a week and you can't mow.

I think I would tell them what they could do with that ticket, and then move!

I wish it was that easy but it's not. Lease, daughter Sr. year in high school and only been here a year. GREAT neighbors and neighborhood, just sucky neighborhood association. Leander High School less than a mile away--wal mart just over a mile--free beer next door--what more could a guy ask for???

What about running that vegitable oil mix pushed at www.dieselsecret.com? Would this or any other product void the warranty?

If they sell B100. Take a 5 gallon can of the B100 and mix it with 95 gallons of fuel. You'll have the B5 or 5%.

usroute66, I just checked and if the fuel doesn't meet ASTM D6751 specs for fuel then you CAN'T use it. It is not a motor fuel per EPA regulations.

You're missing the point. The longer we stay on 100% petro diesel, the more you'll see the price drive up. As we increase usage of bio, supply will then increase and prices should come down. If we sit on the fence, we'll just get a sore butt.

Los Angeles has one Bio station that sells B20 and B100. I would assume that the B20 means 20% bio. And I have read here that Ford says up to 5% bio is acceptable. Correct? BTW, the bio price here is $2.99, and I can get diesel for $2.99 also...and not have to drive far to get it either.

Yes Mark you comments are corect. Since soybeans are GROWN every year around the world this would make sense to get as high as we can on the renewable fuel and save the petro for the coming generations. This would apply to both gas and diesel fuels.
