speedometer
speedometer works parttime ,changed vss ,changed speedometer ,checked wiring harness ,suspect exciter ring ,how do I check the exiciter ring ,abs light comes on, trans wont shift , usually works at lower speeds 1995 f350 thanks

[B]I had similar problems with mine. Mechanic at the dealer said the anylizer kept pointing to the speedometer in the dash, but that didn't fix it. After about 6 trips to the dealer with them trying different things (at no charge) It ended up being the antilock brake controller. My truck had been in a wreck before i got it, and it was cracked, allowing water to get in it when i washed the engin down. It was very frustrating to the mechanic, but he finally got it. I talked to him several months later, and he said right after he found the problem with mine, he got another truck in with the same problem, and he was able to fix it right away.
