compressor size for paint?
I'm looking to buy a compresor for my shop and I would like ot to be able to run a pint sprayer/media blaster. What size do I need?
Currently I am looking at something in the 220V oiled non-direct drive arena, but I would like to know if less would suit my needs.

Check your media blaster to find out how much air it will consume. That info should be listed in the sales liturature at the dealer. Add about 20% to that figure to account for wear in the blast nozzle and purchase a compressor that will produce at least that amount. That will be more than adequet to paint with.
