I have a 94 explorer with 109000 miles. It's in good condition except for now. It's leaking huge amounts of antifreeze from the engine. I show it to a friend and he says there is a leak from the engine not the radiator hoses. What do I do? He says it's a moajor job to fix. What am I looking at in cost? I don't want to lose her. Thanks
There are also freeze plugs in the block that are known to fail like that.
I agree, don't fool around with the liquid seals. Even if they worked, they were never designed to seal a large leak like that. Half the time, even if they seal the leak, they plug up something else in the cooling system.
