People should ask me what car i don´t like, but in my list:
- Ford GT40 (old and new, we kick Ferraris all the way)
- Alfa R. Tubolare (looks and hearth... but no A/C)
- VW Puma (at least got the looks)
- VW Passat/Audi sedans/Toyota Camry/Honda Accord (shhhh i´m not here)
- Lotus Elise (where´s the race track?)
- Ferrari 456 (you and 3 more screaming? nice...)
- Lister Storm (the ultimate sheep/wolf)
- Citroen DS (can yours stand on 3 wheel only?, beautyful design too)
- VW Bettle (60 years and still looks contemporary)
- 93 Ford Bronco (well, i have to love mine, she never lets me down)
yep thats the one. i know where 1 is that has been in a barn on jack stands since 75 .silver with black.
That'd be a resto project...My dad wanted to buy one new in '56, and mom almost flipped out. $7000 for a car! Who knew?
I hate to say it, but I was thinking of the Deux Chaveaux Tiger Dan mentioned. It was so ugly, it was almost cute. That little 2-popper wouldn't make a bad commuter with todays fuel prices.
Funny- the French have made some of the best...and worst cars on the planet. Someone else mentioned a traction avant- those were waay kewl. The original gansta car.
darn you.now i'm trying to find a old photo.it's McQueen and i in lapaz in 1971 after the 1000. Dead tailed drunk together . boy was he a great guy to meet
1957-65 Chrysler Crown Imperial, 1958-60 Lincoln, 1958-59 Mercury Parklane, 1969-72 Mercury Marquis, 1961-69 Lincoln Continental and a 1963-73 Buick Riveria.
Glad to see somebody mentioned the old Rivieras. The style right in around 65-66 is just awesome. The 71-73 boat-tails are some of my favorites of the 70s but I don't know if I consider them beautiful.
Most of my favorites have already been mentioned, so I won't repeat those, but I don't think I saw the 39 style Fords or the Lamborghini Miura mentioned.
