I need help locating the turn signal switch for a 77 f-250 automatic transmission with cruise control....i've found a switch without cruise but my cruise still works so i'd rather no lose it if i can avoid it. I've check junk yards but most trucks are missing their steering wheels and i don't know how to tell the difference between a switch with and a switch without cruise control. any help in this area would be a godsend...i don't want to get pulled over for no signals!
I didn't even know they made cruise control on these trucks. Ford used steering wheel spoke mounted controls on tilt column models. I have never seen a system like yours and can find no mention of it in a Haynes manual, and only a couple of vague paragraphs in the Chilton's. No pictures at all... Even the 77 Ford OEM manuals I have don't mention it. Good luck...
Are you sure the system you have is Ford and not aftermarket?
You could try the OEM CDROM manuals available here at the [link: motorhaven.autoanything.com|Online Store].
