Manual tilt column

I looking though a junk yard today and saw a 78 F-250 with 4 spd and a tilt coulumn . How rare is the manual tilt ? I thinking of going back to get it next week .

i;m pretty sure someone made that. I don't think they ever came from the factory that way.

that is a very rare option and they go for over 300.00 on ebay.

Get it now. I have been looking for one and have yet to find one local and i can't bring myself to pay the kind of money people are paying on ebay.

It was an option on the older ford and is a very rare find. If it good buy it.

i know a guy who bought one for ten bucks from some guy that needed money to buy beer. he still wont sell it to me. but they are very rare. i would go get it in a hurry.

Check out my gallery, my 79' (which my dad ordered brand new has a tilt and a 4 speed) There was ALOT of discussion on this and most people still believe that they are made and not orginal. I even have my build sheet from ford on this pickup that list the tilt as a option. A very rare option I would go back and get it ASAP Chances are the junk yard wont know the rareity of it and the price will be the same as any other column
