My excursion and my Boat.

She tows smooth, and it seems as if the diesel is running better every time she gets a load on her back

Nice setup. I've got the a 2000 6.8L 4x2 and have towed my boat and/or travel trailer 1000s of miles to both the FL Keys and into the mountains in KY and TN. I'd love to have the diesel, but it wasn't available in 99 when I bought ours. You can see pics of my setup in my gallery. My boat trailer has been replaced by a tri axle aluminum bunk. The lower overall weight and better balance of the trailer made towing much more enjoyable than with the previous steel trailer.
