Is there a better way online to search for a vehicle..
Ford-direct is ok but find it a little stupid in the fact that you need to know a whole lot of zipcodes in order to search alot of dealers stock. Entering in 1 zipcode gives you a whole whopping 5 dealers...
Seems like they could come up with something better like "search all dealers within 100 or 200 or 300 miles of ..(EnterZipCode here)"
And then on top of the zipcode thing they only allow you a few options to enter in that you are looking for.
How about more options to include in the search and also exclude.
All options by the way has to be added again if you use a different zipcode for a new search..
Ford wants you to go to the dealer, not just spend all your time looking at vehicles online. But I agree with you, as a customer it's maddening. And I HATE the new "look" of FordDirect with all the pretty animation -- you can't see as much information at a glance about the vehicles as you could before. And you can only see MSRP on the sticker, you can't see the breakdown of invoice prices like you used to. I thought the old site was much better, IMO.
Go about it by "locate a dealer" and put your zip code in. It will list numerous pages of dealers. The only drawback is that you have to search for the cars individually.
