im planing on getting ford racing mechanical water temp and boost gauges
for my lariat can't decied where to put them. for those that have put them in where did you place them? the ones im looking at are 2 1/16 od thanks

 

I have added some gauges to my truck, check my gallery for pics. I have seen some people install them on the pillar, you can get a 2 or 3 gauge that matches your trucks interior color. I have also seen people put them in the tray in the center of the dash. It really comes down to what you like.

 

Where/what do you tap into to put the sending unit for a water temp. gauge? I'm looking to get the gauge pod that sits in that top tray on the dash.

 

I'm soon to order the Pillar pods for my future gauge(s) it seems to replace the spot right where my handle is...I never gotten into the habit of usin it...so i figure it shouldn't harm anything.
