SRS trouble
I know that this is a FORD website. I have had alot of good help from this site. Maybe i can get some good help on this. Someone might know something about a Mercedes Benz
I have a 1991 Mercedes Benz 190E 2.6 (inline six) automatic trans.
As i was driving the other night a light on my dash popped up that was red and had " SRS " .
The light will come on and stay on for different amounts of time and then go off. the length of time that it is on varies from 30 seconds to 5 seconds (just a rough guess)
Does anyone know what this is for and what i can do to fix it?
Is it dangerous?

I would say contact the NTSB and make a complaint and maybe a
recall will be issued and you wont have to pay for any rework. And
if this happened to you im sure it's happened to others,It's a good
chance being an airbag and all should be a safaty issue.
