cracked crossmember
P.S. its the crossmember just under the engine. iam not sure how it happen, but most likely off-roading
Make sure you drill holes on either end of the cracks to make sure they stop. If you do not, they will continue. Weld it up good.
Weld your lift kit brackets on the crossmember too. This cracking is sort of common because of the stress put on that crossmember after lifting. My skyjacker brackets do a good job of spreading the load out across the c-member but even in the instructions they recommend welding it. It also has a 1/4" plate on the opposite side.
