Hey all..I joined here today out of total fristration..two months of negotiating at the dealer has landed me with a real lousy deal for a new 05 lariat supercab or crew cab..nearly 750 a month!..you kiddin me?..seems the family plan has jacked up the interest rates for me..so Im back to the other idea I had..swapping out the crappy *** v-6 and dropppin a new 8 cyl.in it..IM not going to do the work..i need someone excellent in the southern california area...v-6 is a total dog..and to top it off horrible gas mileage...which is why i wanted to get a new truck..but not the way ford is got it set up now..big interest rate..etc..so..plz..any suggesstions?

Do the deal and then go over to a local Credit Union a couple of days later and re-finance.

I got 4.50% a couple of months ago!

Go back to the deal again. Ford is trying to break the all time monthly sales in F150's. Tell him you know that and if he doesn't deal, you'll go elsewhere.
