R fender

seeking a 66 or mid/late year 65 R fender....has the round hood bumper as opposed to the oval one used up to mid year 65.....I have an excellent oval bumper type on my truck that will be for sale once I get the right fender.....

Let me know.....ideally prefer rot free and barebones minimal mud in fender if any....

cs65, There is a link to the classifieds further up the page, hope you have placed an ad there. Also have your email feature turned on so that anyone that wants to help can get in contact with you. I didn't know there was 2 different styles in 65. If I could physically get to my shed in the back yard I'd check mine to see if I have what you need.

There are.....technically 4 if you toss in the 2wd/4wd differences....the change in bumper occurred around 700001 which is june/july 65 build.

Let me know what ya find.....on the later type, if bumper is gone, all there will be is a sheet metal screw hole as thats all its held on by....

There is an easy fix just weld the slot for old style & grind smooth very little time involved and no one would know as I had this problem when restoring my 66.

I have thought of that...the thing is is A, I am no welder, and B that area is where the skin is mated up with the mounting flange....doubled up...
