Rating Plate Information.
Got these numbers off of my truck's nameplate (is that the correct terminology?). I'm referring to the metal tag that's riveted to the driver's side door. Anybody out there tell me what they mean?Here they are...

The CA7603 means it was built in April 78 and the 7603 truck off thr line that month
The other easy Ones.

PM exterior colour code
P= Dark Nectarine Metallic M=White
F356 =
Pickup code = F-350-2x4 8900 lb axle
CZ4 = Trim codes
C = Ranger XLT Bench seat
Z = Saddle Colour
4 = Styleside pickup
G = Transmission =Automatic C6[/iRear Axle code = Dana 70 4.10:1
J = Power steering

Rating Plate Information.
Hmmm....to get all the info on your truck, I advise getting a build sheet from FORD - they are free and give all the info you need.
