After reading several pages of this forum concerning my 2002 F-350 7.3 PowerStroke Diesel shutting off at lower speeds, I went to my Ford dealer loaded for bear. My mileage was 63,000 I knew the problem should be covered under 100,000 PowerStroke warranty. Changed fuel filter twice in one month and saved them to show dealer bad fuel wasn't the problem. Checked all connectors (except under valve cover) to see if I could simulate problem. After reading that people with bad Camshaft Position Sensor had identical symptoms as mine, I knew (thanks to everyone's help) I had found the problem. My Ford dealer found out the the Camshaft Position Sensor had gone bad and replaced it. My cost was $100.00 for the PowerStroke Warranty deductible. I was treated with much respect by the Service Manager who asked me how I knew so much about my Ford F-350 Dually. I told him I learned it ALL from the EXCELLENT posters at Ford Truck Enthusiasts.
