Probably $2000 max. A true "project" from the ground up per se. Something that runs preferably, maybe '78-'85 year range, but obviously not in too good of shape.
Yeah, I've been checking EBay on a regular basis. I've found some pretty good deals so far, but they have been further away than I want to travel to pick it up.
I bought mine off ebay. I took a bus to Ft Collins Colorado, 25 hours on a bus at 3 in the morning I made the deal and headed for home. Check out my gallery. I paid $3500 for it. It came with a 4" lift. ARB air lockers a soft top and hard top. A great stereo and only 97000 miles.
I picked up one in huston a couple months ago for $1,500 in good shape of a 79. I saw a couple early 80s Broncos while I was there, but I'm happy with what I have. Just keep your eyes open and go look places you normally wouldn't look in back yards, behind buildings, etc... they're not always out in plain sit.
Check out autotrader.com. I found mine in autotrader and bought it in San Antonio. I check the web site frequently. Just saw a '94 with 200k on the clock and they wanted $2750. I believe its already sold.
