my '96 F-150 houses a 4.9L I6, and that isn't enought (obviously). i was wondering what else i could fit into it (don't mind making modifications). is it possible to get a diesel in there? the bigger the better.

As for diesel, if you have access to something like an I4 diesel, be our guest and show us the way.
Also, the I6 ought to be enough for what an F150 does, so if you are not that into a swap, check those rear gears. The 300 is not a rev happy engine, so 2.73 or 3.08 gears aren't its best friend.

no, i was just throwing the diesel thing out there, i'm not that worried about it. as far as the engine swap, i am pretty sure i want to put a 351 in it. i appreciate the help.
