I was wondering if anybody know what transmissions will bolt up to my 1978 f150 4x4 It has a 400 in it I have two c-6 transmission but they both need rebuilt and I am looking to find something to get me running again until I get one rebuilt

The c6 which you already have , then , as far as manuals , np435 , t18 , t19 , assuming you have the correct bell and tranny cross member , other possibilities , AOD , e4OD , etc.....fd
