Code Help please
I've got a '96 F150, 4 X4, with a 5.8 in it. I'm getting codes 0136 and 0141 which the book say is O2 Sensor Circuit Malfunction and O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction. Both in Bank 1 Sensor 2.
Can anyone give me a clue what I can do to fix? Trying to save a few bucks and do it myself. thanks in advance.

There is a 12V wire going to each of the O2 sensors to power the heating element. It sounds like a relay or a fuse has failed and they are not getting power. Check the fuse and the relay first, then if both are ok, unplug the O2 sensors, and with the key on, engine off, test the truck wiring harness where the O2 sensors plug in and see if there is 12V on one of the wires, and ground on one of the others (should be four wires total, the other two go to the computer). If 12V is not there, start tracing back through the harness until you find where you start having 12V again.
