CMP Censor?

CMP Censor?
I have a 96 powerstroke. My truck died while I was driving down the road. Everyone's been saying it's the cmp censor. Could someone tell me exactly where it's located on the block and how easy it is to change? Where would be the best place to purchase one, online or off.

Its just above the crank pulley on the front of the motor.About the 10-11 0-clock position. Its held on by one bolt, 10 mm. Its usually pretty tight so be sure to have a good hold on it as not to round the bolt. Takes about 15 mins. to change. Tell us a little more about whats going on with your truck but what you described is the symptoms of a bad cam sensor. Good luck!
On edit.... I think the cheapest place to buy them is a International dealer. If yau don't have one locally they sell on ebay for about 80 bucks.

the cps is the timing indicator arrow. Get at it from below with a 10mm 6pt socket and ratchet. Use some oil to lube o ring seal on install. You can get your out and take it with you for the part number (numbers, a letter and numbers)

Thank You to all who replied to my message, I do appreciate it! Thanks to you guys, I now know what it looks like, where it's located on the engine and how to change it. Thanks!! But as far as buying another one, I live near east central Ohio, does any one know if there is a International dealer near here? If not I'll probably have to get one off of e-bay. Thanks Dell
